TESTIMONY FOR ELIF’S TRIPTYCH
“When I first met Valerie at Collect and inquired about this project, I felt an instant connection with her. As we discussed the site of the project with its colours, displays of light and shadow, dimensions and the mood, I sensed we felt the same emotions and we were visualising the same artistic outcome. The commission proposal that followed validated my feelings and I was happy to set out on this commissioning journey with no revisions needed.
Working with Valerie was a smooth and delightful process. We kept regularly in touch through Zoom and I could visually witness and discuss the progress along the way. I learned a lot about her fascinating technique, the materials and textures and always felt part of the process.
I am thrilled about this most enjoyable experience with Valerie with the perfect outcome and am so happy to have known this incredible artist.”
TYPICAL PROCESS
Here’s how it would work:
You get in touch and we arrange an initial consultation. This can be done face to face, via video / telephone call, or email. We discuss your ideas, feel and size of the artwork, as well as establish a budget.
I then summarise this conversation into a Commission Proposal outlining the brief, timeline and quote.
Once revised and agreed, the project is drafted into a Commission Agreement, detailing the different phases, the fee’s instalments, along with a progress-updates schedule:
Design Phase 1: I present you with 3 to 4 drawings for you to consider
Making Phase 2: Materials are ordered and work commences
Completion & Delivery Phase 3: Framing is confirmed, and delivery arrangements made (collection / courier)
Please note a typical commissioned project will take around 3 months, depending on prior diary commitments.
